I build both transmission-only tunes and full custom calibrations for Ford vehicles. My 6R80 and 10R80 trans tunes fix the issues Ford owners complain about most—slow shifts, gear confusion, and lag. Stage 1 and Stage 2 full custom tunes add real power and throttle response while including full transmission tuning for a stronger, smoother, more responsive vehicle.

Tuning requires HPTuners.

  • We recalibrate shift points, shift speed, and torque management for smoother, more consistent gear changes. This eliminates the lazy, inconsistent shifting common in stock 10R80 calibrations and gives you predictable performance on the street or track.

  • Your dash gauge is a dummy. 5.0L engines idle at only ~10 psi oil pressure from the factory, which can contribute to the infamous idle ticking and long‑term valvetrain wear. We increase commanded idle oil pressure to help improve lifter and valvetrain lubrication, reduce noise, and promote longevity. New warm idle oil pressure will be ~28-30psi
